Blue and white seem to be my go to colors for a lot of my sketches. By simply smearing some blue water color on my sketchbook pages to break up the black and white of the paper and pen.
While I love traveling to places synonymous with jungles, beaches, and islands – I’m often intrigued my the arctic. Especially the life with it.
This penguin sketch is a result of a curiosity I had for penguins. I made a few of these penguin sketch studies, but this is the only one I made with some watercolor washes to bring out the cold feeling I wanted to portray.
