Most nights I’ll go for a run in a park near where I live. I’m usually the only one.
Except for the dozens of rabbits.
They’re getting used to me. On my first and second laps, they’ll scatter when I run by. Then on the final laps, they won’t move.
In this drawing I used a white Prismacolor pencil on a small piece of matte board which already had some smears of gesso on it. There’s also a drawing of a flower in the upper right corner that I ditched midway through many weeks ago.
I enjoy drawing on surfaces with a history of drawings and marks already on them. Which all look intentional when I finally put a few finished drawings on them.
