Wildlife conservation has always been deeply personal to me. There’s something transformative about being in the wild—watching animals in their natural habitats, drawing animals, and feeling connected to something much larger than myself. As a wildlife artist, these moments inspire my drawings and fuel my passion for storytelling through art.
Traveling to wildlife destinations and observing animals, whether it’s the stealth of wild cats or hiking amongst flora in a jungle, brings a sense of wonder that I try to capture in my work. Even activities like seeking longboard waves for surfing around the world are part of that connection with nature.
I’m also fascinated by how animals weave into our myths and cultural narratives, shaping the way we see and value them – from ancient times and on.
For me, it’s all connected—art, travel, and nature are inseparable threads that shape how I experience the world and share it with others. Through my work, I hope to inspire that same sense of wonder and respect for the wild.
